The Night of the Stars returns to Cascais next Saturday, 22nd of June. From 9.10 PM, the lights at Azarujinha Beach will be turned off to better see the stars. This initiative is organised and led by NUCLIO - the Interactive Astronomy Centre.

Several telescopes will be available for participants to observe the Moon, stars and other celestial objects. It will be possible to identify constellations and a variety of celestial bodies. Admission is free, and you can also bring your own binoculars or telescopes from home if you wish.

The organisers advise that the event will last until midnight and recommend that everyone brings warm clothing. More information can be obtained by calling 214 815 389.

The next session is scheduled for 20th of July, though the location has not yet been confirmed. On 14th of September, it will return to Azarujinha.
