Recently reopened and already gearing up for surprises, Belvedere restaurant at the Grande Real Villa Itália Hotel has invited the young chef Andrea Leali from Casa Leali in Brescia, Northern Italy, for a special dinner on October 29th.
Described as a "rising star of the new culinary scene in Italy", the chef, referenced by the Michelin Guide, practices "regional cuisine", blending local ingredients such as eel, lemon, tomato, honey, and sage with childhood memories. Alongside his brother Marco, the maître d' and sommelier, they even made it onto the list of "30 Under 30: Best Talents in Italy" in the 2020 edition of Gambero Rosso, which also ranks Casa Leali among the country’s top restaurants.

In Cascais, Andrea and the team promise a dinner featuring eight courses—plus a surprise dish that the chef will prepare using Belvedere’s recipes.
The menu includes: Soffritto all’italiana BBQ (Italian sauté for barbecue), Piadina di Patate, Salmerino Affumicato e le sue Uova (potato flatbread with smoked trout and its roe), Toast di Gambero di Cascais (Cascais shrimp toast), Paccheri, Ristretto di Pesci, Baccalà e Limone Candito (paccheri with fish sauce, cod, and candied lemon), Risotto al Kiwi, Pesto e Finocchietto Selvatico (kiwi risotto with pesto and wild fennel), Raviolo di Manzo Affumicato, Sugo d’Arrosto (smoked beef ravioli with roast sauce), Peperone e Peperonata (pepper and pepperonata), and Mela Grattugiata (grated apple).
The cost for this exquisite dining experience is €125 per person, with drinks included.
