Ezra Collective and Jordan Rakei are the latest names confirmed for the next edition of Ageas Cooljazz, a festival celebrating its 21st anniversary this year. The event returns to Hipódromo Manuel Possolo and Parque Marechal Carmona in Cascais, with several dates throughout July.

Both the British band and the New Zealand-Australian singer and producer will take the stage on July 15th. Ezra Collective, one of the standout acts in the new wave of London jazz—where jazz tradition blends with other grooves, from hip-hop to electronic textures—will be presenting their latest album, Dance, No One’s Watching, released in September. This will be their debut at Ageas Cooljazz.

Jordan Rakei, who has been based in London for several years, is no stranger to the festival. The 32-year-old musician released a new album in 2024, The Loop, a cinematic project that moves fluidly between soul, R&B, jazz, and hip-hop.

Tickets are already on sale, ranging from €30 to €45 for this night. Other confirmed acts include Seal, Masego, Benjamin Clementine, Gilsons, and Slow J. Meanwhile, the secondary stage, Cascais Jazz Sessions by Smooth FM, will feature performances from Bokor, Isabel Rato Quinteto, Razy, and Beatriz Nunes.

Avenida da República, 371, Cascais

Heads-up: these are the major events happening in Cascais in 2025
