For the second year running, Extreme Hangout is taking place in Cascais - an event that brings together art, entertainment and gastronomy as a way of raising awareness of the importance of protecting the environment and ensuring greater sustainability for the planet. This time it's taking place on 13 and 14 July at Palmela Park.
Part of a global platform dedicated to climate action founded in 2021, Extreme Hangout will feature 15 panels with 27 speakers, workshops, a Speaker Corner for all those who want to present their projects and a marketplace with stalls from innovative and sustainable brands.
There will also be food trucks - with biodegradable cutlery and edible dishes made from oats - and activities ranging from sewing classes to film screenings, DJ sets and talks on palaeontology.
Entry is free, but registration is required. The full programme can be found on the initiative's official website.
