News regarding the 20th anniversary of the Cooljazz festival just keep on coming. Following the confirmations of Jamie Cullum, Fat Freddy's Drop, and Diana Krall, the organization has just revealed two more: Marina Sena and Luedji Luna are officially joining the lineup for the 2024 edition.
The two artists will take the stage on July 27th, at the Manuel Possolo Racecourse, fortifying the bond between Brazilian music and Cooljazz. Marina Sena has established herself as one of the main voices to emerge in Brazilian pop music, over the last few years, blending baile funk's local elements with electronic details and global notes. This year she presented the album Vício Inerente.
Luedji Luna has been one of Brazil's most acclaimed artists in recent times. She has two albums under her belt - Um Corpo no Mundo, from 2017, and Bom Mesmo é Estar Debaixo de Água, from 2020 - the latter of which earned her a Latin Grammy nomination.
All in all, there will be three concerts per night: the Cascais Jazz Sessions by Smooth FM and then the two performances on the main stage. Tickets for Marina Sena and Luedji Luna's date range from 30€ to 45€.
