Brazilian artists BK and Silva are the latest additions to the Coala Festival lineup—the Brazilian-born event returning to Portugal for its second edition on May 31st and June 1st, once again at the Hipódromo Manuel Possolo in Cascais.

Both will take the stage on the festival’s opening day. BK is a rapper, writer, and composer known for his socially and politically charged lyrics. His latest album, Diamantes, Lágrimas e Rostos para Esquecer, released in January, made waves and became the eighth-biggest Brazilian album debut ever on Spotify.

Silva, meanwhile, is a singer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist who has been reshaping the rich landscape of Brazilian popular music. His most recent album, Encantado, was released in 2024.

The growing lineup for this year’s Coala Festival already includes Ney Matogrosso, Liniker, Criolo, António Zambujo (with Rancho de Cantadores da Aldeia Nova de São Bento), Xande de Pilares (paying tribute to Caetano Veloso), Djodje, Lena d’Água, Timbalada + Afrocidade, Bruno Berle, and Ana Lua Caiano.

Day tickets are available for €55, with VIP day passes priced at €110. General passes go for €107, while VIP passes are €214.

Avenida da República, 371, Cascais. 31 May-1 Jun (Sat-Sun). €55-€214
