From December 1st to 15th, the Museum of the Presidency of the Republic will take over the Citadel Palace in Cascais with a festive programme featuring concerts, guided tours, and creative workshops. These activities are paid and require prior registration, with all ticket proceeds going to Casa dos Rapazes, a social solidarity institution in the region.
From Wednesday to Sunday, between 11.00 and 14.30, visitors can explore the various rooms of the Palace, from the Noble Hall to the former bedroom of King D. Luís, including the Chapel of Nossa Senhora da Vitória, located within the Cascais Citadel. The 60-minute tour is limited to 30 participants and costs €4.
At the same time, from the first to the last day of the event, the "Enfeitar o Natal" (Decorate Christmas) creative workshop invites schools and families to make eco-friendly Christmas decorations. Prices range from €0.50 per child (for schools) to €4 (for families).
The Christmas concerts will take place in the Chapel of Nossa Senhora da Vitória at 11.00, with performances by the Cascais and Oeiras Chamber Orchestra (December 1st) and the Assembly of the Republic Choir (December 8th). Tickets are priced at €2.
Reservations can be made by email (museu@presidencia.pt) or by calling 926045883.
