To celebrate International Children's Day, which is marked every year on June 1st, Cascais will host another edition of the Children's Festival on the following day. The event's programme is divided between the Bay and the Citadel. The activities are primarily aimed at young children (aged 3 to 12) and their families.

At Cascais Bay, there will be surfing, climbing, zip-lining, canoeing, sailing, diving, face painting, workshops, pedal cars, mini-tennis, bouldering, a gymnastics circuit, concerts, and a vehicle exhibition.

The Citadel will host bouncy castles, go-karts, additional workshops, a baby corner, circus performances, storytime, a giant bubble show, a series of traditional games, and the very popular “the floor is lava” game.

The complete programme is available on the local council's website. Then, just get into the spirit of play.
