After the line-up of chefs, the line-up of artists set to perform at Chefs on Fire has been announced: since its first edition in 2018, this gastronomic festival has gone far beyond just food and drink. This year, on the 20th, 21st, and 22nd of September, 12 concerts will provide music at FIARTIL, in Estoril, while 27 national and three international chefs cook around the fire.

Capitão Fausto, Bárbara Tinoco, and RIOT B2B Pedro da Linha are the headliners, closing each of the three days of the event respectively. They will be joined by Tatanka & Miguel Araújo, Ganso, and iolanda on Friday, the 20th; HMB, Janeiro, and Manga Limão on Saturday; and Buba Espinho, Rapaz Ego, and Rita Onofre on the final day (Sunday, the 22nd).

Around the campfire
Among the announced chefs, those who shone at this year's Michelin Guide gala stand out: Vítor Matos, who won two stars for Antiqvvm and one for 2Monkeys; João Sá (one star at Sála) and Rodrigo Castelo (one star and a green star at Ó Balcão). Also confirmed, with one Michelin star each, are Luís Brito (A Ver Tavira), Arnaldo Azevedo (Vila Foz), and Pedro Pena Bastos (Cura) – all three making their debut at the festival where every dish prepared must be cooked over fire.

In addition to those already mentioned, the sixth edition of Chefs on Fire will feature Luís Gaspar (Sala de Corte, Pica-Pau, Brilhante), Leonor Godinho (Vago and Vida de Tasca), Nirmal Save (Gunpowder), João Magalhães Correia (Tricky’s, Bar Alimentar), Catarina Nascimento (83 Gastrobar), Inga Martin (formerly Go A Lisboa), Paulo Alves (Praia no Parque), Nuno Castro (Fava Tonka), João Guedes (Flora), Vitor Adão (Plano, Planto), Zé Paulo Rocha (O Velho Eurico), David Jesus (Mapa), and Francesco Ogliari (Tua Madre). Desserts will be prepared by pastry chefs Diogo Lopes (Ritz Four Seasons), Maria Ramos (White Rabbits Projects), and Ricardo Machado (Bairro do Avillez).
Tickets are already on sale online. A single-day ticket, which includes five food servings and two drinks, is priced at 90€, while a three-day pass, offering 15 food servings and 10 drinks, costs 230€. The children's ticket costs €20 per day.
FIARTIL's doors open at midday and the party - at the table and on stage - lasts until midnight.
