The smell of smoke hasn't faded, the photos are yet to be fully shared, and the digestion of so many delicious dishes is still underway - and yet, the 2025 edition of Chefs on Fire has already been announced. The gastronomic festival dedicated to fire cooking returns to a two-day format, scheduled for the 20th and 21st of September in Cascais.
In the last two editions (2023 and 2024) Gonçalo Castel-Branco's festival had three days, always at Fiartil, but next year it will have two days again, possibly due to the various expansions Chefs on Fire has experienced. This year alone, there were pop-ups in Santarém and Aveiro, with a Madrid edition coming up on the 5th and 6th of October and another pop-up in Foz Côa (19th and 20th of October).
Tickets for 2025 are now on sale, available at promotional prices for a limited time: €200 for two days (15 dishes and ten drinks) and €75 for one day (five dishes and two drinks).
This year’s festival boasted an impressive line-up, featuring renowned chefs like João Sá (Sála), Rodrigo Castelo (Ó Balcão), Luís Brito (A Ver Tavira), Arnaldo Azevedo (Vila Foz), Pedro Pena Bastos (Cura), and Vítor Matos (Antiqvvm, 2Monkeys). Also showcasing their talents were João Magalhães Correia (Bar Alimentar, Trickys), David Jesus (Mapa), Vítor Adão (Plano), Zé Paulo Rocha, the entire team from Velho Eurico, Leonor Godinho (A Vida de Tasca), and Louise Bourrat (Boubou’s).
As for the concerts, Chefs on Fire came to an end with Bárbara Tinoco and Buba Espinho.
