For those who have been eagerly awaiting, following last year’s debut, the wait is over. Another event fully dedicated to sustainability and local commerce is on its way. Organised by Asoka & Friends, it promises a weekend filled with activities and plenty of delights to enjoy.
"This festival is a celebration of the best initiatives linked to sustainability and essential support for our talented local producers", explains Diogo Borges, CEO of Asoka. "And the best part? Entry is free. We believe that inspiration should be accessible to everyone", he adds.
Carefully prepared food to whet your appetite and spark your desire to eat will not be in short supply, with options ranging from delicious burgers to healthy cakes. To toast, nothing beats a classic glass of wine, craft beer, or the healthier choice of kombucha. And while you’re enjoying some comfort food, there will be live music performances with hand-picked bands to ensure a lively and relaxed atmosphere throughout the event.
But this festival isn’t just about good food, great drinks, and fantastic music. Art will also have a guaranteed space, with artist exhibitions and creative workshops. For the little ones who love to run around, there will be a dedicated area just for them, filled with fun and educational activities. And, of course, sustainability will be a key message to pass on to the younger generation.
The programme is set for two unique and unforgettable days, showcasing the best of what local production has to offer.
