The Cascais Village Market will host the sixth edition of the Portuguese-Speaking Countries Market. It takes place between May 17th and 19th and promises to bring together the different countries and regions of Portuguese-speaking expression — Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, Galicia, Goa, Guinea-Bissau, Macau, Mozambique, Portugal, São Tomé and Príncipe, and Timor.

This multicultural event will feature about 40 stalls with crafts and traditional food from each country or region. Additionally, there will be concerts — with special highlight on Angolan singer Eddy Tussa —, zumba and yoga classes, a space designed for children, and some lectures.

It's an initiative organized by UCCLA - Union of Portuguese-Speaking Cities, in partnership with the Cascais City Council, which gains special relevance in the context of the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the April 25th, 1974 revolution.
