Jota.pê is the latest addition to the Ageas Cooljazz lineup. The 31-year-old Brazilian musician, who recently took home three Latin Grammys, will perform at Hipódromo Manuel Possolo in Cascais on July 17th, sharing the bill with fellow countrymen Gilsons.
He's bringing his 2023 album Se o Meu Peito Fosse o Mundo to the stage — and who knows, he might just treat the crowd to "Feita a Maré", his collaboration with Gilsons that made it onto the record. More recently, he teamed up with a Portuguese artist for the first time, joining forces with fado singer Teresinha Landeiro on "Visita Inesperada".
Tickets for the night are on sale now, priced between €29 and €33.
The festival lineup already boasts big names like Seal, Masego, Benjamin Clementine, Ezra Collective, Jordan Rakei, and Slow J. Meanwhile, the Cascais Jazz Sessions by Smooth FM stage will feature performances from Bokor, Isabel Rato Quinteto, Razy, and Beatriz Nunes.
