Comparing the visit to this museum to a dip in the sea may be the most obvious thing to say. Born in 1992, he intends to preserve the stories of the Cascais fishing community while addressing the study of various themes related to the sea, a practice initiated by King D. Carlos, still in the 19th century, with the study of the oceans, illustrated in the museum. In each room of the museum a different subject is dealt with, from marine fossils to boats and fishing stories from the village.
