Dust off your Stetsons and get saddled up for a two-day extravaganza of the best in country music as the Cape Town Country Music Festival brings a whole lotta hoe-down to the DHL Cape Town Stadium this October.

The two-day festival features eight international country artists and 10 talented South African country performers. On Saturday, October 26 Kip Moore returns to South Africa (after three sell-out shows in Cape Town and Pretoria last year) to headline the day, bringing his signature country sound to captivate the stadium. Also, don’t miss the chance to see Darius Rucker – co-founder of Hootie & the Blowfish – and CAM on stage. Sunday, October 27 sees the Zac Brown Band make their debut performance in South Africa.

In their decade-long career this Grammy Award-winning southern rock group has had six consecutive albums reach the top 10 of the Billboard 200 and five consecutive albums debut at #1 on Billboard’s Country Albums chart. The group has won three Grammy Awards – including Best New Artist in 2010 – sold over 30 million singles, nine million albums and amassed over 11 billion catalogue streams.

'I absolutely love Africa and try to visit every year. We’re so excited that we get to perform at South Africa’s first-ever country music festival in October,’ said Zac Brown, whose band recently released their new single, 'Tie Up'.

The Zac Brown Band will also be joined on the Sunday evening by the ever-popular duo Brothers Osborne, winners of the prestigious Country Music Award.

There’s plenty of local talent on the bill too, with the likes of Riaan Benade, Roan Ash, Demi Lee Moore, Ricus Nel, Juan Boucher, and more.

And befitting the tunes on stage, expect the DHL Cape Town Stadium to be transformed into a Nashville-inspired arena complete with authentic American food and drinks. You’ll find exclusive artist and festival merch for sale – including boots and Stetsons! – at the stadium, and beforehand via www.ctcfest.net.

Tickets, from R650 per day, are available via ITickets.co.za.
