When it comes to location, location, location, it's certainly hard to beat Tintswalo Atlantic.

Perched on a pebbled beach at the foot of Table Mountain National Park, this award-winning luxury hotel in Cape Town dishes up panoramic views from almost every angle: over azure waters to Hout Bay, sunsets framed by the dramatic Sentinel Mountain, and out across the Atlantic Ocean. Behind, fynbos slopes scamper up the mountain peaks.

And with just 10 spacious suites, each set just above the rush and tumble of the high-water mark, it's a destination that thrives on its remarkable location as much as the abundant luxury and hospitality on offer.

And now there are new opportunities to stay, with Tintswalo Atlantic converting its two-bedroom suite into two separate inter-leading suites; now dubbed the Luxury Mountain Suites.

Set slightly back from the ocean (which does get noisy in a storm!) the new suites are tucked amid the fynbos and milkwood forests to offer elevated ocean views that look down onto the waves below.

As with the eight Luxury Island Suites, the two Luxury Mountain Suites both feature private balconies and wood-burning fireplaces, as well as luxurious bathrooms with separate showers, double vanities and free-standing bathtubs with glorious sea views.

The Elba Luxury Mountain Suite includes a separate private lounge with another fireplace and a spacious deck. Traveling with family or friends? You can book it together with the inter-leading Corsica Luxury Mountain Suite to create a larger space for four guests traveling together. Additional beds (one per suite) can also be arranged to accommodate children under the age of 16 sharing with parents.

Rates at Tintswalo Atlantic start from R9940 per room per night (Corsica Luxury Mountain Suite) and from R10 490 per room per night (Elba Luxury Mountain Suites and Luxury Island Suites). It's not a cheap night out, but there is value on offer. Beyond the remarkable location, rates include accommodation, breakfast, sunset canapés, cocktail of the day, Wi-Fi and a welcome bottle of wine per room.
