From comic art to cos play, gaming to geeking out on the latest tech, Comic Con Cape Town is one of the city’s most popular pop-culture festivals, and this year returns to the Mother City bigger and better than ever before!
Comic Con Cape Town 2025 takes place from May 1-4 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre and visitors can expect a colourful world filled with everything to do with the world of pop culture.
There will be exhibitor displays and celebrity guests, cosplay competitions and unique shopping opportunities filled with sought-after tech, games and comic merch. As in 2024, the Artist Alley brings local creativity to the forefront.
Of course, there will also be interactive activations and gaming experiences, product launches, workshops, panels, Q&A sessions, screenings, activations and plenty of opportunity to grab autographs from film and television celebrities. No names mentioned yet but expect some proper stars to show up!
And a happy twist of events, it is, that Comic Con falls over May the 4th this year, so expect a huge turnout of fans celebrating Star Wars Day!
