Great news for globetrotters! Norse Atlantic Airways is turning up the heat on its route from Cape Town to London Gatwick, boosting flights to four times a week this April.
From April 1 to April 27, 2025, flights will depart the Mother City on Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 11 am and touch down in London at 9:40 pm
Meanwhile, those heading south from Gatwick can hop on flights departing on Saturdays, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays at 8 pm, landing in Cape Town at 8:30 am the next morning.
And if you're already dreaming of your late-2025 escape, Norse Atlantic has announced it will be bringing back the seasonal route from October 28, 2025, until April 2026. The airline will kick things off with three flights per week before ramping up to four weekly flights from December 2025 to April 2026.
It's a win for budget-conscious travellers keen to skip the stopovers and head straight for the good stuff, whether that's Cape Town's sun-soaked beaches and vineyard-filled weekends or London's theater nights and Christmas markets.
However, as a low-cost long-haul carrier, Norse fares often don't include luggage or onboard catering, so be sure to do the math and choose your fare carefully. With a little planning and flexibility, you can score cut-price fares from the Mother City to London!
