World-famous illusionist Rob Lake will be bringing his acclaimed show – ‘The Magic of Rob Lake’ – to South Africa in 2024, with a series of shows in Cape Town and Johannesburg.
Lake has performed to millions at sold-out shows in 45 countries across the globe and is especially famous for his elaborate theatrical illusions and interactive performances. Forget about rabbits out of hats, or ribbons turning into flowers: Lake presents awe-inspiring storytelling illusions on a grand scale.
In 2008, Rob Lake became the youngest magician in history to receive The Merlin Award: as ‘International Stage Magician of the Year’, the award is magic’s highest honour and the industry equivalent of an Oscar

Performing in South Africa for the first time, Lake will perform at the Grand Arena, GrandWest on Saturday, October 5 (3pm and 8pm) and Sunday, October 6, 2024 (2pm and 6pm). Tickets, from R350 – R600, are on sale via www.ticketmaster.co.za.
