Emo Adams. Luna Paige. Koos Kombuis. Papier Family Band. Die Soetstemme. Valiant Swart.
What reads like a roll call of South African music stars is also the lineup for this year’s Solms-Delta Oesfees, taking place at the Solms-Delta estate outside Franschhoek on March 29, 2025.
The Oesfees is an annual tradition dating back to 2008. It was revived in 2024 and is now growing in strength each year. Expect a laid-back yet lively day of festivities that marks the end of the summer wine harvest and celebrates Cape culture, music, food, and wine.
“The spirit of Oesfees is something truly special,” says Tommy Hall, CEO of Solms-Delta Wine Company. “When people with passion, talent and a shared purpose come together, they create more than just success - they create magic. And that’s exactly what happens at Oesfees.”
Live music is the heart of the Oesfees, with this year’s stage featuring a stellar lineup of Afrikaans and local musicians.
Emo Adams has long been a crowd favourite at the Oesfees and will once again bring his infectious energy and signature humour to the stage. Hall is also thrilled to have the likes of Koos Kombuis in the line-up.
“Like Emo Adams, he is a household name in South Africa and can only be described as ‘music royalty,’“ says Hall, who also raves about Valiant Swart. “Who can forget some of his classics like Die Mystic Boer... still an iconic song in South Africa!”
Beloved local bands, including Papier Family Band, Die Soetstemme, and Solms-Delta’s own Optelband, backed by renowned artists Nick Turner, Schalk Joubert and Carlo Fabe, will add even more flavour to the festivities.
Beyond the stage, Solms-Delta wines will be on sale, and a host of food stalls – along with the Fyndraai kitchen – will keep festival-goers well-fed.
Tickets for the Oesfees cost R200 per person and are available via Solmsdelta.com. Children under 12, accompanied by a parent, are free. Gates open at 10am. Don’t forget to pack a picnic blanket and chairs.
