We are truly blessed in Cape Town to have such glorious surroundings. From our mountains filled with fynbos to our golden beaches which stretch for as far as the eye can see, we do natural beauty extremely well.
With that stunning scenery comes some really cool chill spots where you can settle down for a drink or something to eat while taking in the beauty of the area.
One such spot is Chinchilla Rooftop Bar and Cafe in Camps Bay - and its awesomeness has just been recognised by Time Out Travel as one of the Top 20 rooftop bars in the world!
Now that's lekker!
Located within the Promenade Building on Victoria Road in Camps Bay, Chinchilla offers a laid-back and loungey vibe, with a variety of DJs on hand to set the mood from 4pm to 8pm on weekends.
To drink, it is recommended that you sip on a Twisted Bellini, while a bottle of ice-cold chardonnay always goes down well with these views.
To eat, Chinchilla has a variety of seafood on offer to compliment the gorgeous sea views. Their food is always great, so you won't go wrong tucking into some prawns, mussels, oysters or crayfish.
While Chinchilla may have been recognised globally, there are many other wonderful spots in Cape Town for you to eat, drink and sit in awe at, with those available in our list of the city's best rooftop bars.
