Beyond the wineries and tours you may have planned for your summer 2025 visit to Mendoza, there are events multiplying, especially at this time of year when the Vendimia (Grape Harvest Festival) becomes a celebration throughout the region – here’s everything you need to know about this traditional celebration. Sunsets, mountain parties, some concerts and exhibitions are perfect reasons to enjoy a different kind of outing.

As general recommendations, don't miss some strategic spots that trace the history and present of Mendoza City. For example, walking from Plaza Independencia to the Portones of Parque General San Martín and taking photos at these Instagram-worthy spots. At night, another casual outing could be having drinks at the bars on Av. Arístides Villanueva or choosing a more gastronomic route on Av. Juan B. Justo. Now, let’s look at the agenda for the upcoming weeks in the land of sun and fine wine.

1. Regional Vendimia Visual Arts Salon

In the heart of Mendoza, at the Eliana Molinelli Contemporary Art Space, you can visit until March 15 the exhibition resulting from the most important visual arts call in the region. This is the Regional Vendimia Visual Arts Salon, a long-standing tradition in the province. This edition features 102 selected works by artists from Mendoza, San Juan, and La Rioja.

The salon is designed as an opportunity to stimulate and support the regional visual arts production, as well as to acquire and enhance the artistic heritage of the Province of Mendoza.
