Let's do a bit of self-promotion: we want to tell you about what our friends and colleagues from Barcelona are preparing. This weekend, the fourth edition of the Time Out Fest will be held. The chosen venue to host this bustling gastronomic festival? La Antiga Fàbrica d'Estrella Damm. It is expected to repeat the success of previous years, with a high attendance of both local audiences and tourists visiting the city, taking advantage to taste the best of Barcelona's cuisine.

What to do in Buenos Aires this weekend

This year, critics have selected 19 chefs from the top 16 local restaurants to cook their signature dishes live. Among them, we proudly announce the participation of an Argentine representative, Maru Botana, who owns a restaurant in Barcelona and has been selected to present her "torta rogel," which is a hit among Spaniards. There will also be dishes for all tastes and sensitivities: Asian cuisine, vegan, gluten-free, and more.

The best part of the Time Out Fest Barcelona? It offers uninterrupted cooking hours. That's right, from 11 am to 11 pm, you can come and enjoy delicious food non-stop. And also, dance to the rhythm of DJs, enjoy tastings, and workshops for all tastes, curated by the experts of Time Out Barcelona. As you can see, it's much more than a gastronomic festival.

At the Time Out Fest Barcelona, local producers are championed

If there's one noteworthy fact, it's that for the selection and curation of the dishes presented at the festival, a key factor is taken into account: that they all incorporate ingredients from local producers.

It's a sustainable and 'cashless' festival

As the event organizers (our colleagues and friends from Time Out Barcelona) explain, all the tableware used is compostable, and the cups are reusable. Additionally, there will be recycling containers throughout the venue. As if that wasn't enough, payments will be 'cashless': balance is loaded through a digital ticket with a QR code. Wonderful, isn't it?

It's 'kids-friendly'

At the Time Out Fest Barcelona, children are welcome, and there will be activities for them, such as cookie decorating and a space for games and reading.

And for the last bit of news… could it be that we will soon announce the arrival of the Time Out Fest Buenos Aires? Stay tuned.
