Tapeando is back with a bang! We've got great news: from April 4 to 13, the fourth edition of Tapeando, the gastronomic festival that invites us to "tapeo" in Argentina, is coming. For 10 days, you'll be able to travel from north to south of Spain, tasting its delicacies, all without leaving your city.

What is "tapeo"?
Before diving into Tapeando, let's clear up this doubt many Argentinians have, because although we would love to, "tapeo" is not in our DNA, like having tea time, for example.

Tapeo is much more than eating delicious food. It's an experience, a tradition deeply rooted in Spanish culture that invites sharing small portions of varied food in a relaxed environment. Tapas can be cold or hot, simple or elaborate, but they always aim to achieve the perfect balance of flavor, creativity, and community. In bars and restaurants across Spain, "tapeo" is an excuse to gather, try different dishes, and pair them with a drink, turning each outing into a small gastronomic journey with good company.

How does Tapeando 2025 work?
Over 70 restaurants in Buenos Aires, Mendoza, Córdoba, Rosario, and Mar del Plata will offer more than 200 tapas options inspired by the flavors, recipes, and iconic destinations of Spain. From classic montaditos and pinchos to highly creative preparations, you'll be able to try the best Spain has to offer. And don't think it's just about ham and croquettes: there will be gluten-free and vegetarian options as well. The best part? These tapas will be offered at special (and super affordable) prices.

Which restaurants are participating in Buenos Aires?
If you live in Buenos Aires, you're in luck: there are 35 options to choose from, and all are amazing.
Here’s the tip: if you're out for tapeo, you don’t have to "settle down" in one restaurant for the whole night. Instead, you can do it like in Spain—enjoy one tapa here, and another there, trying different things, changing the environment, and chatting a bit more while walking to the next restaurant. If this plan sounds fun, we’ve made it easy for you: we’ve organized the offer by neighborhoods, so you can choose 2 or 3 close-by spots and create your route for the night. The other option? Pick one restaurant and settle in to enjoy their tapas offering before moving on to the main course.

Tapas Contest: A prize with Spanish flavor
The more tapas you try, the better you'll be able to vote in the Tapas Contest, the grand finale of Tapeando. This contest turns the festival, organized by the Tourism Department of the Spanish Embassy in Buenos Aires, into a true recognition of Spanish gastronomy reinterpreted in Argentina, as the winning restaurant receives the award for Best Tapas of Tapeando 2025. What’s the bonus? By voting, you’ll participate in a raffle for two tickets to Spain, flying with Level, so you won’t miss out on more tapeo.
