Easter 2025 is the perfect excuse to travel, and here we offer some destinations within the country to explore during this time. But if the question is "What to do in Mendoza?" the province is an irresistible destination when planning a getaway with family, friends, or even solo. At the same time, the religious nature of the celebration gives these days a special significance.

Mendoza offers art, landscapes, wine tourism, religious tours, and a host of other activities that make it one of the perfect places to enjoy during this time: from Thursday, April 17th to Sunday, April 20th.

1. Classical Music along the Wine Roads

This is one of the most important cultural and tourism events in the province; a festival dedicated to classical music that takes place across all 18 departments of Mendoza, for the past 25 years.

From April 12th to 20th, the new edition of Música Clásica por los Caminos del Vino will feature over 60 concerts. Renowned musicians from Mendoza and invited guests will offer a diverse repertoire of universal classics, in tribute to the anniversaries of the births of Pierluigi da Palestrina, Johann Sebastian Bach, and Handel.

Note: Wineries, cultural spaces, schools, parishes, cellars, parks, and natural reserves are the settings for this musical event that combines toasts, gastronomy, and dance. We recommend booking your spot in advance as space is limited and in high demand.

2. Malargüe, the Southernmost Department of Mendoza

In the southern part of the province, at the foot of the Andes Mountains, this city provides the perfect opportunity to disconnect, enjoy nature, and embark on new adventures.

To the southwest of Malargüe is the Caverna de las Brujas nature reserve, and to the northwest, the Las Leñas ski resort. To the east of the department is the wetland with diverse bird species at Laguna Llancanelo, and to the south, the volcanic area of La Payunia Provincial Reserve. In the city, there’s the chance to enjoy astronomical tourism at the striking blue pyramid housing the Planetarium's projection room, or paleontological tourism, 14 km away, at the Dinosaur Tracks Park.

Note: During Easter, the municipality offers special discounts on excursions, tours of historic sites, scientific, religious, gastronomic, and fishing tourism.
