After writing this article, we can confidently say that Buenos Aires offers a wide range of options for celebrating your birthday. Trendy bars, clubs, restaurants, plazas, private venues to rent and customize... The possibilities for celebrating another year are virtually endless, and there are hardly any limits!

But let's admit it: after a certain age, the perfect plan often involves gathering friends and family and stepping away from conventional celebrations to start the new chapter in the most original and fun way. If this sounds like you, know that Buenos Aires also offers incredible options: from a tour of the best pizzerias in a retro Volkswagen van, to rooms to literally break everything and a Drag Queen bingo with karaoke. In this article, we present some of the most original ideas to celebrate your birthday and mark another year in the most fun way possible.

1. ORNO

Orno is the place that has it all. This Neapolitan-style pizzeria transforms into a one-of-a-kind entertainment space on Thursdays and Fridays, offering Drag Bingo and a fun-filled karaoke night.

On Thursdays, the Drag Bingo is hosted by the fabulous Drag Queen Socorro. She calls out numbers in a lively way and checks the winning lines. The prizes? From exquisite cocktails to dedicated songs.

On Fridays, the venue turns into a vibrant karaoke bar hosted by singer and actress Flow Gateño. Guests can sing and dance to all genres imaginable, with the best performance of the night earning a prize.

Note: These activities have limited availability and a minimum spend of ARS 19,000 per person (as of the publication date). Reservations can be made through the Meitre platform or by contacting the venue directly.

Where: Av. Corrientes 402, Olivos; Guatemala 4701, Palermo.

2. Under

As its name suggests, Under is an underground bar offering an exclusive experience paired with exquisite signature cocktails.

It has two locations: one in Palermo, beneath Tigre Morado—one of the city’s top cevicherías—and another in Microcentro, below Fabric Sushi. Both are Instagram-worthy and deliver more than just a dinner. Expect a “subterranean” experience filled with music, cocktails, and fun.

Note: The Palermo location was designed by Eme Carranza, the creative mind behind some of Buenos Aires’ trendiest bars and restaurants, including Niño Gordo, Boticario, and Don Julio.

Where: Honduras 5900, Palermo; Esmeralda 438, Microcentro.
