The Barolo Palace, inaugurated in 1923, became an architectural symbol of Buenos Aires with its blend of Neo-Romantic and Neo-Gothic styles and its dome inspired by a Hindu temple, representing the union of Dante and Beatrice, the protagonists of Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy.
Although it now functions as an office building, it is a must-visit for both locals and foreigners who are captivated by the architecture of this majestic construction filled with references and tributes to the Divine Comedy.

101 years is not celebrated every day
In commemoration of the 101st anniversary, Modo Arte, a project focused on creating opportunities for emerging artists to showcase their work, is organizing an exhibition from June 29 to July 6, encompassing various disciplines such as visual arts, sculpture, photography, mosaic, installations, and textile art.

This celebration not only seeks to highlight the architectural beauty of the Barolo Palace but also to share, within its over 1,500 m² of space, multiple contemporary artistic expressions.
Emerging artists worth discovering
For six days, visitors will be able to tour the different spaces of the Barolo Palace and discover new artworks. Marcela Grines, a sculptor, comments: "This is a great opportunity for emerging artists to showcase our work. In this way, the public can engage with new artistic expressions that are generally not easy to access or that do not have much visibility."
