Here's a guide on what to do with kids in Mendoza for a stay full of fun. Having a car is ideal for reaching places further from the city, but even without one, you won’t miss out on the adventure. The area offers bus lines, a metro with over 15 stops, and family vehicles for rent.

1. Cooking at Pan & Oliva, Santa Julia Winery

The Zuccardi Family invites you to enjoy a fun day at their Maipú estate. Across from the Zuelo olive oil mill and near the olive groves, you’ll find the Pan & Oliva restaurant, where kids ages 3 to 12 can cook alongside their families.

The plan includes an educational tour of the organic garden to learn about different ingredients, a cooking class demonstrating ways to use olive oil, and finally, tasting the food they made. The experience is available daily except Wednesdays and Sundays, with sessions at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., and includes a tour of the production plant and olive oil tasting for the whole group.

Tip: The Santa Julia vineyards are also located on this estate and can be toured on foot or by bike. There’s also Casa del Visitante, the winery’s restaurant.

2. Wakeboarding, Biking & Skating at El Roble Wake Complex

For kids, teens, and adults who love sports, El Roble offers adrenaline-filled activities. This park features cable wakeboarding on an artificial lagoon with an obstacle course, available to both beginners and those with experience, with clinics for all ages and equipment rentals.

The park also has a pump track & half pipe for bikes and a mini ramp & half pipe for skaters, with classes led by experienced riders and skaters. Open Wednesday to Sunday from 12 to 7 p.m.

Tip: El Roble is a place where everyone can have fun. The restaurant offers a varied menu in the dining area and more casual options for the beach-style area with palapas and garden seating.

3. Rafting on the Mendoza River

The rivers and mountains of Potrerillos provide the perfect natural setting for adventure. Argentina Rafting offers a variety of activities year-round with trained staff.

Their options include half-day rafting (12 km) and full-day rafting (30 km), suitable for ages 10 and up, with a minimum of four participants. Other options include kayaking (for ages 7+), ziplining (4+), rock climbing (12+), and rappelling (6+).

4. Kids’ Paintball – A Colorful Group Battle

Esparta offers an exciting paintball experience for children aged 8 and up, open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Players are split into teams, with protective gear provided. Guns and rifles are specially regulated for children, and monitors accompany each game for guidance and supervision.
