Maal Max, the party that challenges you to dress like a post-apocalyptic survivor
This electronic party is from another planet—or rather, another world. Inspired by the Mad Max trilogy, it invites attendees to be part of a post-apocalyptic desert. How? By dressing like a survivor of the end of the world, with outfits and makeup to continue the adventure.
At the foothills of the Mendoza mountains and among the vineyards of Maal Wines, a new ritual of wine, fire, and electronic music is celebrated, featuring different DJs from the local and national scenes. For this “maaldita” spring party, the chosen name is “Flor de infierno.”
Arrive early at Maal Max, and you'll find a space with artists and designers to help you put together or complete your chosen outfit. T-shirts, harnesses, fur and leather garments, chains, goggles, and crowns are some of the pieces you can wear, along with makeup to bring your character to life.
Where: Maal Wines Winery (Pasaje de la Reta 975, Las Compuertas, Luján de Cuyo). When: Friday, October 11, at 4:00 PM. Tickets.
Corona Sunsets Festival, to reconnect with the rhythm of nature
After traveling the world, the golden and sustainable sunset arrives in Mendoza, inviting you to disconnect and reconnect with friends in nature. Just like in Mexico, South Africa, Italy, Australia, and China, Corona Sunsets Festival will bring to the Mendoza mountains an international format combining electronic dance music culture, space for artistic installations, and even unique flavors in a menu created for the occasion.
The artists that will brighten this sunset include Australian DJ Chet Faker, Italian Stephan Jolk, and Argentine Lisa Cerati; along with Usted Señálemelo, one of the top Mendoza bands with international recognition.
Goddesses and nymphs welcome guests with performances that integrate the celebration of the golden hour with a ritual. The invitation is to join the tribe, and for that, various artists offer tattoos and designs on faces and bodies to match the spirit.
Where: Puesto del Indio, Estancia San Isidro (El Challao). When: Saturday, October 12, at 4:00 PM. Tickets.
The recommendation is not to miss the chance to experience spring in Mendoza and participate in these incredible events at sunset at the foot of the mountains. Get ready for a season full of fun, music, and dancing.
