Far from traditional tasting menus with pairings, Estación 83, located within the historic Bodega Trapiche, was conceived for those seeking a different and accessible plan, without compromising quality and the essence of Mendoza.
This experience is the perfect destination for those who want to experience the province from within, whether with friends, family, or as a couple. The reason? Estación 83, this outdoor wine bar, invites you to enjoy a good draft wine, delicious food, and a relaxed atmosphere, all framed by its gardens. The most curious, but promising detail: the wine bar operates inside an old train carriage, much like a similar accommodation in San Antonio de Areco.
Estación 83 at Bodega Trapiche: What Does the Experience Involve?
Entering the world of Estación 83 feels like traveling through time. On its old tracks rests a carriage that used to transport Trapiche wines to Buenos Aires. Today, lovingly restored, it has become a place where wine flows, literally: here, Mendoza’s first draft wine is served. It is called “draft” because it doesn’t go through the bottling process; instead, it is transported directly from the winery's tanks to the carriage.
The offering includes five wine taps curated by the winery’s chief winemaker, Sergio Casé: sauvignon blanc, chardonnay, malbec, merlot, and a rosé. Each glass surprises with its freshness and purity. But the experience doesn’t end there: wine cocktails, with names inspired by the railroad, are a must. If you like something tangy, I recommend Andén, a refreshing mix of sauvignon blanc, lemon, mint, and syrup.
Trapiche and Inter Miami: A Winning Team
What truly makes Estación 83 special is its ability to reinvent itself. Although it has been operating since 2020, in 2024 they took their concept to the next level by partnering with the soccer team Inter Miami. What they sought to create in the winery’s gardens was to replicate the experience offered at the Trapiche Corner, located outside the stadium in the United States.

Both in the decoration (from pink glasses to barrels of the same color as the team) and the menu, the energy of soccer vibrates. This approach, blending wine, sports, and design, is a central part of what earned Trapiche the World Gold Award at the Best Of Wine Tourism 2025, in the Innovative Experiences category.
What Can You Eat at Estación 83?
The menu, designed by chef Lucas Bustos, is another reason to indulge. Dishes like the vacío sandwich, osso buco empanadas, and choripán are perfect for sharing with friends or family. There are no formalities: the idea is to enjoy without complications, leaving behind the cutlery, almost as if you were at a picnic, but with delicious draft wine to accompany it.

The service rounds out the experience. The waiters, always attentive and smiling, ensure that every interaction is memorable. Details like these make the experience complete with the warmth of the place.
A Place That Invites You to Stay
As the afternoon progresses, the atmosphere intensifies: the lights in the gardens turn on, the sky turns orange, and the lake surrounding the space becomes a perfect mirror. At that moment, everything seems to fall into place, encouraging you to order another wine cocktail and simply let yourself be carried away by the atmosphere.
Estación 83 is not just a wine bar. It is an invitation to disconnect, enjoy the simple things, and reconnect with the essence of Mendoza, all without leaving the city. Between the wine, history, and creativity, this corner leaves you wanting to return even before you’ve left.
