1. Parque San Martín

This iconic park in the heart of Mendoza is a green lung with over 100 years of history, designed by landscape architect Carlos Thays. Upon entering, you are greeted by the imposing gates along with a perfect French replica of the Marly Horses.

3. Stoppel Mansion - Carlos Alonso Museum

Located in an elegant historic mansion, formerly known as Stoppel Mansion, the home of a notable Chilean businessman, Luis Stoppel, who owned a carriage company in the province among other businesses. Inside the old building, you can enjoy the permanent exhibit of renowned Mendoza artist Carlos Alonso.

In its restoration in 2018, the Carlos Alonso Museum was created behind the mansion, a space that blends contemporary art with local history. Its minimalist rooms highlight the works of both Mendoza and national artists, inviting you to capture the contrast between the old and the modern.

The building itself, constructed in 1912, is an architectural gem, nominated in 2023 by the Buenos Aires Art Nouveau association for its architectural preservation and design objects. Tip: Along Emilio Civit Avenue, you can take an architectural tour, discovering buildings, mansions, and homes with well-defined styles, some featuring Art Nouveau & Deco designs.

4. San Martín Passage

5. Cerro de la Gloria
