Mendoza has a unique gem in the world: a vineyard right in the airport. And it’s not just any vineyard, but the epicenter of the Fiesta de la Cosecha, a celebration that is part of the official Vendimia calendar, combining wine, music, and solidarity each year.
From seeing one of Argentina’s best bands in a symphonic version for the first time to participating in a live harvest, the 24th edition of this festival on March 5th is going to be a blast. If you want to be part of it, here’s everything you need to know.
A vineyard with history and a live harvest
Why is the Fiesta de la Cosecha celebrated? Because it marks the beginning of the Vendimia calendar. And it’s much more than just an event: it’s a tribute to Mendoza's winemaking culture. That’s why, during the festival, amid airplanes and music, three hectares of Malbec will be harvested live inside Mendoza’s International Airport, a spectacle that only this province can offer. All of this is organized by the Wine Fund, the Government of Mendoza, the municipalities of Las Heras and Guaymallén, Aeropuertos Argentina, the Federal Investment Council, and the Argentine Wine Corporation.

Like you've never heard them before: Los Auténticos Decadentes Symphonic
If you're a fan of Los Auténticos Decadentes, start booking your tickets… At the Fiesta de la Cosecha 2025, you’ll get to hear them like never before, in their first symphonic performance with the Mendoza Philharmonic Orchestra. Under the baton of Maestro Gustavo “Popi” Spatocco, the ska band that made us jump and sing with anthems like Los Piratas reinvents itself with symphonic arrangements, as well as new music composed by Spatocco specifically for this event. Can you imagine singing Besándote with more than 50 musicians live? Unmissable.
A happy occasion for everyone: for the musicians of the Mendoza Philharmonic Orchestra, who will be celebrating their 40 years of music with the Decadents and plenty of wine; for the Mendoza singers Andrea Leguizamón, Yasmin Gonzales, and Yolanda Navarro, who will perform their songs accompanied by local musicians like Exequiel Sandoval, Rubén Martínez, Laureano Busse, Nico Diez, Quique Oësch, and Rodrigo Botaccaulli; and also for you, who will experience an unforgettable party full of music in a unique setting.
