If you're here, reading Time Out, it's because you enjoy eating well. And what better excuse than "killing time" to try something that tempts you, right?

If you're passing through Aeroparque this summer and enjoying its improvements, we suggest that before flying, you embark on a flavor journey. In this guide, you'll find our recommendations for breakfast, quick bites, parrilla lovers, those looking for special menus (veggie, vegan, gluten-free, or kid-friendly), or those wanting to indulge in dulce de leche or Malbec. It doesn't matter if you have a lot of time before your flight, or if you just made it: in Aeroparque, there are options for everyone to eat well, board with a full stomach, and a happy heart!

For breakfast: Start with more energy

If your flight is early, you probably woke up at dawn and didn’t have time for breakfast at home. But once you're at Aeroparque, you can treat yourself to starting your journey with a coffee and something delicious. Our favorites? The exquisite Caramel Macchiato from Starbucks (available in both the boarding area and the ground floor) with a blueberry muffin or a cinnamon roll is a champion’s breakfast.

If you like croissants drenched in syrup, don't miss Atalaya before boarding (and grab some for the flight). Helpful tip: here’s a list of our favorite croissants in Buenos Aires.

For something more artisanal, Le Pain Quotidien (in the food court and pre-boarding area) offers toast with natural jams.

And for a savory start to the day, you can grab a ham and cheese toast at Tostado Café Club, located in the National Arrivals. Tip: if you like cold coffee, pair it with a delicious latte fresh.

Parrilla, milanesa, and wine: The best versions of classic Argentine dishes

We all know: Argentine beef is unbeatable. So, before flying to other destinations, treat yourself to a bife de chorizo at La Cabrera al Paso, located in the food court (we spoke with its chef and owner, Gastón Riveira, who revealed the secrets for a great barbecue).

Another great option for grill lovers is Outback Steakhouse, an Australian-inspired restaurant in the pre-boarding area (order the Victoria’s Filet, a thick-cut beef tenderloin that will make your inner carnivore happy).

If milanesa is your thing, you’ve probably already read our article on the best ones in Buenos Aires. If you're at Aeroparque and craving a good milanesa, head to Club de la Milanesa: their bife de chorizo milanesa, with extra-crunchy breading and a touch of rosemary, could be just what you need for your last meal in Buenos Aires.

If you're a wine lover, the Fausto wine bar, located in the International Boarding Area and also in the check-in hall, will delight you. Order a glass and pair it with a premium charcuterie platter because you deserve it... and much more.

Quick but tasty: Fast food with a twist

Are you someone who arrives at the airport with just enough time? We won’t judge you. In fact, we recommend some quick yet delicious options so you don’t miss out on enjoying good food. Just make sure you carve out some time to eat well because once you get to the airport, your trip has already started, and it’s time to choose what to savor.

You have many options to choose from: Mostaza and McDonald’s are on the ground floor food court, and Burger King is on the upper level. All three are great for a burger or nuggets (and if you’re traveling with kids, remember that the kids' menu toy will be invaluable for keeping them entertained on the plane). The Club de la Milanesa, on the upper level, also has great options for kids.

But not all quick food is just burgers: on the upper level, you can get a delicious slice at Pizzería Academia or stop by the FRESCA food truck to enjoy some Tagliatelle Pomodoro on the go.

And in the boarding area, you’ll find Pizza Zen, a concept by the Petersen family offering pizzas and empanadas, cooked in a wood-fired oven and made with organic flour, without preservatives or additives.

Finally, if you have a little more time before boarding, we recommend settling in at Hard Rock Café because their fajitas are always a good idea.

Sweet temptation: Desserts and coffee

For a sweet shock before takeoff, do yourself a favor and order a Black Cookies Cake at Pani, located in the boarding area. Just a warning: try this delight at your own risk because it will take over your taste buds so completely that you’ll find yourself coming back for more.

Looking for gifts? Havanna, as always. A box of half chocolate, half dulce de leche alfajores is always a welcome gift. For yourself, treat yourself to a coffee with a Havannet because it’s always time for something delicious.

Options for celiacs: Gluten-free and delicious

If you're celiac, here are some of the best gluten-free spots in Buenos Aires. Now, if you're at Aeroparque, you'll also find some delicious options. If you're craving something sweet, Le Pain Quotidien offers gluten-free baked goods, Havanna’s gluten-free alfajores are a fantastic sweet option, and at Starbucks, their energy bars are a treat. PANI also has gluten-free options that don't sacrifice flavor, and they encourage you to ask what’s delicious that day.

A journey of flavors before boarding

As you can see, Aeroparque is more than just a starting point: it’s where your journey begins. The next time you're passing through, come with time to savor what you like the most. There are plenty of options waiting for you.
