Music, painting, installations, or film… Museums and cultural centers in the city honor women across various artistic disciplines with free activities to learn more about the women who represent us in the world of art.

1. Painting at El Rojas

"The Skin of the Psyche – Body and Subjectivity in the Age of Artificial Intelligence" is an exhibition reflecting on the relationships between body, psyche, and society. The exhibition brings together different generations of artists, such as Carolina Antoniadis, Emilia Heinreich, and Ornella Pocetti, among others, drawing connections with foundational authors through theoretical references such as Mildred Burton, Raquel Forner, and Elda Cerrato. The tour is complemented with books related to the context of these Argentine artists.

Tip: The exhibition is open from Monday to Saturday, from 10 AM to 8 PM.

2. Film at York

The Miradas Argentinas series celebrates women in cinema with a special program of fiction films and documentaries by Argentine directors, including works by Albertina Carri, María Luisa Bemberg, Paula Hernandez, Lola Arias, and Lucrecia Martel, among other national film figures.

3. Music at Recoleta

A concert series on the Recoleta terrace celebrates Women’s Month with duos and trios, creating a space where voices merge, songs are shared, and music becomes a bridge. Some of the participating artists include Yamile Bullrich, Vocat, Elis and Laura Gonzalez, Dandara, and Mora Robirosa.

4. Installations at Palacio Libertad

Artist Margarita Bali presents Galaxias Inmersiva, an audiovisual installation in a loop with a set built between dancer footage and space images taken by NASA’s astronomical telescopes. An illusory journey where human bodies are free to dive into and navigate the colorful fluid of galaxies and nebulas.

Tip: It can be visited on Wednesdays from 2 PM to 8 PM. Entry is free until capacity is reached.

5. Exhibition at Casa Equis

"Mancha Estatua" is a solo exhibition by artist Caro Linera, curated by Clara Manetti, which constantly plays with the inside and outside. The work tells the story of the woman who wanted to be a flower and the flower that fights to become a woman again, accompanied by texts in the form of an intimate diary.
