You probably know the story: Elle Woods is a young woman dating the heir of a prominent family until he decides to break up with her because he wants to pursue a career in politics and needs a less "blonde" girlfriend. Clearly, this is one of the most anticipated musicals of the year, featuring Laurita Fernández, who went from participating in Marcelo Tinelli's "Bailando" to replacing Griselda Siciliani in Sugar.

6. Come From Away

7. Forever Young

Another unmissable classic. Buenos Aires in 2050. In a nursing home, seven elderly people follow the routine set by the nurse. But when she leaves, the place turns into a wild rock and roll and sex fest reminiscent of their youth. The play features a lot of well-known musical numbers and plenty of humor.

8. La Desgracia

Since Asesinato para Dos and Telemarketers, there hasn't been such a brilliant and fun musical. In a small town, a hysteria is created over a new disease (the misfortune) that is supposedly transmitted through sexual relations. The town doctor is actually conspiring with the mayor, whose daughter ends up in a hospital ward with other women showing various symptoms. It’s a musical full of irreverence, rhythm, comedy, and cleverness that has made the jump from the off-Broadway scene to Corrientes Avenue.

9. Mamma Mia!

The successful musical featuring the music of the Swedish pop group ABBA captivated audiences in Villa Carlos Paz during the summer and in Rosario in April, and has now arrived at the Teatro Coliseo in Buenos Aires, with Florencia Peña starring.

Mamma Mia! first debuted in 1999 in London and became one of the most acclaimed musicals worldwide. The Buenos Aires audience can transport themselves to the magical Greek island where the story unfolds, following the tale of a young woman who, on the eve of her wedding, invites three men who could be her father without informing her mother. Her mother, unsure of who the father is, revisits old passions and memories to the rhythm of ABBA's songs.
