1. El mejor infarto de mi vida

Series. Available on Disney+. Romantic comedy starring Alan Sabbagh, Olivia Molina, Rogelio Gracia, Romina Peluffo, Brian Maya, Imanol Arias, Rita Cortese, and Eleonora Wexler.

Premiering on January 24, 2025, on Disney+, this series has been the talk of the town ever since. "The Best Heart Attack of My Life" consists of six episodes, each 35 minutes long, and is based on the eponymous book by Argentine writer Hernán Casciari, inspired by real events.

It tells the story of Ariel (Sabbagh), a ghostwriter with a sharp sense of humor, frustrated and living a very chaotic life, who goes into crisis when his wife leaves him. As if that weren’t enough, he suffers a heart attack while staying in a temporary rental house in Montevideo, Uruguay, with Concha, a Spanish dancer he has just met. This event not only reshapes his life but also that of many people around him.

What’s best: "The Best Heart Attack of My Life" is inspired by events from Hernán Casciari’s own life, who suffered a heart attack in Montevideo in 2015. Casciari’s experience went viral after he shared it live on the radio and other media channels, gaining a huge audience response.

2. Envidiosa

Series on Netflix. Comedy with Griselda Siciliani, Esteban Lamothe, Benjamín Vicuña, and cast.

One of the year’s biggest hits, holding steady in the top ten most-watched series, with multiple seasons confirmed. Vicky, a woman in her 40s, watches her friends marry while she remains single, still dreaming of wearing white.

Highlight: Hilarious therapy sessions and candid talks with friends as Vicky tackles self-discovery.

3. El Encargado

Series on Disney+. Comedy starring Guillermo Francella.

The third installment of this wildly popular saga follows the concierge Eliseo as he attempts to build his own empire. Invited to an inter-American convention for building managers in Rio, he realizes his next step is founding his own company and embarks on a chaotic campaign to achieve his goal.

4. Goyo

Film on Netflix. Romance with Nicolás Furtado, Nancy Duplaa, and Soledad Villamil.

This atypical love story, narrated by the experienced Marcos Carnevale, became a global success. Goyo, a museum guide with Asperger’s, lives a strictly ordered life until he falls for a colleague, stirring up an emotional whirlwind.

5. Bellas Artes

Series on Disney+. With Oscar Martinez and cast.

In the second season of this sharp series, Antonio Dumas oversees Madrid's Ibero-American Museum of Modern Art. A man with little patience and no filter, he offers a raw perspective on the art world, featuring eccentric characters—artists, gallery owners, collectors, and patrons—in an explosive cocktail of personalities.

7. Margarita
