Time Out says

If you’ve ever spent your day around St Nicholas Market, particularly near Castle Park, it is just possible you’ve caught a waft of what Matina is cooking. The smell of charcoaled meats fills the air on the eastern side from this tiny haven, which serves delectable wraps the size of your arm for under £5.

Choose from chicken (£4.20), lamb (£4.20), or roast veg and halloumi (£4), or go for the Matina mix (both chicken and lamb for £4.50). Watch them fire the flatbread, and then choose from the selection of salads, pickles, pastes and sauces. Salad boxes are also available for those watching the carbs, but ensure you sample a flatbread with a slathering of fiery harissa, hummus and the sweet and sour pickled cauliflower.

Expect a queue – but if you get lucky, sit and enjoy your wrap with a traditional, sweet mint tea and enjoy the friendly chatter of the staff. A diamond among the brilliant St Nicholas Market food stalls.
