The alter-ego of American songwriter Brian Christinzio, Manchester-based BC Camplight first found critical success with 2005 album Hide, Run Away, followed by acclaim of similar levels with 2007’s Blink of a Nihilist. Now eight years since his last album, the third release is with Bella Union, titled How to Die in the North. The BC Camplight live band is made up of Christinzio on piano and vocals, along with Mancunians Hattie Coombe (vocals), Stephen Mutch (bass), Jonno Prestbury (guitar), Adam Dawson (drums) and Robbie Rush (keys and guitar), whilst support comes from Liverpool singer-songwriter John JosephBrill.
