If Halloween wasn't spooky enough already, Bristol is set to become even weirder as the Bristol Zombie Walk shuffles into the city for October 31.

Bristol's annual Zombie Walk is a gruesome tradition that started back in 2006 and now regularly attracts over a thousand participants. As the name suggests, it involves getting dressed up as a blood drenched member of the undead for what can be best described as a 'mass shamble'.

However, despite the horrifying look of the zombie walkers, the event has a focus on fun, with families of all ages taking part.

The 2015 Bristol Zombie Walk will begin with a meeting on College Green at midday, where entrants can put the finishing touches to their makeup, squirt themselves with ketchup and practice their groans. The walk will then set off at 1pm, on an (as yet unconfirmed) route around town.

There's also the promise of some 'noise based entertainment' at a couple of points along the route, as well as a few designated zombie after party venues.

You can keep up to date with all the details as they emerge by following the Bristol Zombie Walk Facebook and Twitter pages.
