The Bank Holiday weekend means one thing to those of you who crave to rave - three nights to party and an extra day to recover. Here's our pick of the best places to dance 'til dawn in our city...

Tropical X Bodynod, Motion, Friday May 1, £18.50
Grime don JME brings his Tropical party back to Bristol for a second round of no-holds-barred grime and bass music on Friday. The Boy Better Know original is joined by Flirta D and C4 on mic duties in the main room, alongside DJs Plastician, Preditah, Logan Sama, DJ Q, Wookie and local legend Blazey, while Roska, Mella Dee, Flava D and Koast hold things down in Room Two. LEVELZ, The Black Swan, Sunday, £10-£12
Manchester's LEVELZ super collective of producers, DJs and MCs bring their nationwide tour to Bristol's Black Swan on Sunday, in association with The Blast, Psyched and Durkle Disco. The full crew of Biome, Black Josh, Bricks, Chimpo, Chunky, Dub Phizix, Fox, Jonny Dub, Metrodome, Rich Reason, Skittles, Sparkz, Truthos Mufasa and T-Man are joined by special guests and fellow MCR badmen Dub Phizix and Strategy.  

Ruffnek Diskotek x Frontin, Cosies, Saturday, £3
The long-running soca/afrobeat/bashment party Ruffnek Diskotek links with Bristol's freshest carnival rave Frontin at Cosies on Saturday night for a Bank-Holiday bashment like no other. Great music and solid vibes are guaranteed, for just £3 on the door. 

Wonkavision & The Asbo Disco, The Old Crown Courts, Saturday, £15-£18
A MASSIVE line-up hits The Old Crown Courts on Saturday night, promising some of the biggest and baddest names in UK garage, jungle and sound-system music. In Courtroom One, 90s garage legends So Solid will be bringing the two-step vibes courtesy of original core members Romeo, Oxide, Harvey and Megaman, alongside the legendary Scott Garcia. Room Two, meanwhile, will be blessed by bass-pressure maestro The Bug alongside MCs Miss Red and Manga, while Rinse FM jungle stalwart Uncle Duggs keeps it moving in the Cells. 

Defected In The House, Motion, Sunday, £22.50
One of house music's most respected and influential record labels brings the party to Motion on Sunday for the perfect way to round off your Bank Holiday weekend. The legendary MK is joined by Oliver $, Sonny Fodera, Sam Divine, Simon Dunmore and more. Note that things kick off at 7pm and finish at 4am.

Craig Charles Court Of Funk, The Old Crown Courts, Sunday, £13.25
TV star turned funk and soul supremo Craig Charles comes to Bristol on Sunday, taking over the Old Crown Courts in the centre of town for one seriously groovy party. Joining him will be Bristol five-piece band Dirty Luck plus DJ Duo The Allergies. Only final release tickets remain so grab yours quick.
