5Hz: Emma Smith

Artist Emma Smith presents 5Hz, an interactive exhibition that has been developed from a series of electroencephalography experiments, language evolution workshops and public research labs that took place at Arnolfini throughout 2014. Introducing audiences to experience a new human language, the concept of the work is to imagine an alternative evolution of voice, whilst creating a language to strengthen human connection. The exhibition will be accompanied by a programme of supporting workshops, activities, talks and discussions that are to explore aspects of human voice.
