If you’re feeling the pain watching what feels like every single person on your social feeds live it up in Europe, Aperol has put together the perfect outing for you. As part of the ultimate Aperol Kombi Tour of Australia’s East Coast, the Spritz specialists have announced that they’re bringing the Italian vibes to Salt House in Cairns.

The kombi (Ape)rolled into Cairns on July 12 and the effervescent energy will continue right through until August 6. So, what can you expect at the Salt House while the kombi is in town? There’ll be Italian drink specials (think refreshing cocktails like Campari Spritz, Ondina Tonic and of course, Aperol Spritz galore), soundtracked by top local DJs pumping out tunes from inside the kombi.

If you’re doing Dry July or simply don’t feel like something alcoholic, there’s also an invigorating Cordino Non Alcoholic Aperitif on the menu. The weather in Cairns never gets too wintery, so Aperol is also serving up a special deal to help keep you cool. If you buy two Aperol Spritz, you’ll get a free Aperol visor.

For one special day on Saturday July 29, Salt House will be taking the Aperol kombi around the corner to the Italian Festival in Fogarty Park from 10am until 11.30pm. Take in the best of Italian culture with an Aperol Spritz in hand, including culinary delights from different regions of Italy. There will also be a mesmerising entertainment line-up showcasing the best of Italian music and dancing and tickets are $20 for adults or $10 for kids.
