Brisbane Writers Festival

The book-lover's favourite fest is back, and they're bringing out the big guns in 2024. A celebration of Australian thought-leaders, 60 of the speakers in this year’s program are local Brisbane authors, with incredible international speakers joining them on stage at the State Library of Queensland. Australian headline authors include Melissa Lucashenko, Julia Baird and Trent Dalton while international highlights include Booker Prize-shortlisted author Paul Murray and bestselling crime writer Michael Connelly.
