ZA ZA TA, the classy restaurant at Ovolo The Valley, switched things up in 2021 and went completely vegetarian. With a focus on Middle Eastern and Mediterranean flavours, the seasonal menu includes plenty of inventive vegan dishes. The current Autumn/Winter menu features a variety of small mezze and sides, including fermented zaatar potato bread, silverbeet and cultured feta borek with whipped tahini and green tomato, salt and Aleppo pepper crispy tofu with toum, triple cooked spiced potato, and old school creamy hummus with jackfruit shawarma. Take your pick from mains like BBQ cauliflower shawarma with labneh and green papaya, or black lentil and mushroom manti with ragu cavolo nero, or opt for the Taste of ZA ZA TA banquet for a vegan spread.
