Time Out says

Nonna’s Nightmare is the gold standard when it comes to vegan Italian eats in Brisbane. With everything from plant-based arancini, freshly baked focaccia, pizza, pasta and Italian desserts, as well as an impressive list of vegan wines and cocktails, there is truly something to tempt everyone on the menu. The sourdough pizzas are served either bianca or rossa, and come laden with vegan mozzarella, feta, ricotta, premium vegetables and an array of plant-based meats including pork and fennel sausage and bacon. Or opt for pasta like spinach and ricotta cannelloni or truffle mushroom ravioli. Make sure you save room for dessert, which promises the likes of decadent Frangelico tiramisu and vanilla panna cotta with chilli chocolate sauce. With a menu this good, the only issue you’re likely to have is deciding what to have!

Must try: Start with the crumbed stuffed olives with truffle mayo and the focaccia with whipped feta, follow up with the magic mushroom pizza and finish off with the tiramisu.
