One of the newest joints to pop up in dining hotspot West End, Bar Francine is a stylish wine bar with a plant-focussed menu. Owned by Adrienne Jory and Rick Gibson of El Planta fame, this is the spot to go if you fancy a late night drink and a few sharing plates that celebrate the flavours of Europe. With a daily changing menu, you can always expect to find plenty of creative and surprising selection of vegan dishes. Regular favourites include the likes of onion fritti with sweet chilli; Gilda pintxos with sicilian olive, artichoke, red pepper, and guindilla pepper; French toast with marsala onion and mushroom parfait; celeriac carpaccio with pommes allumettes; and BBQ beetroot steak with sauce béarnaise. Along with their own slant on classic cocktails, Bar Francine has a stellar wine list favouring small and independent producers.
