What makes this tight kitchen and tiny bar so appealing? South Bank locals know. So should you. They’ve squeezed a boutique cellar and a sliver of a bar into the former galley-style eatery and still managed to keep it looking airy. Expect a modest but interesting Australian-focused wine list; seasonal taps; and a fridge full of brews that could encourage a longer linger over an Asian bent share plate or pizza straight from the wood. It’s far enough from the cultural precinct to dodge the crowd, but close enough for that pre-or-post-theatre drink and nibble. The cellar collection extends to their bottle shop, and yes, lucky locals, they deliver.
