Time Out says

Is it an aquarium? Is it a theme park? No (but also yes), it’s Sea World, the Gold Coast’s hybrid fusion of animal attractions and white-knuckle thrill rides.

Ocean fauna of every kind, from tropical jellyfish and sea turtles to arctic penguins and polar bears, are ready to meet you for a wild encounter. In addition to the exhibits and enclosures, visitors can also book special packages to swim with dolphins and see behind the scenes to learn how the park’s marine residents are cared for and trained.

Once you’ve made some sea-bound buddies, it’s time to get your adrenaline fix. Sea World boasts a range of pulse-raising rides including rollercoasters like Leviathan and the Jet Rescue Coaster, as well as more gentle experiences, perfect for little ones, like Donatello’s Ninja Flyer and Boots’ Banana Boogie.

Round out your day at Sea World by catching one of the park’s spectacular shows like the twice-daily dolphin or seal presentations, and be sure to stay fuelled up for the fun at one of the 12 eateries and kiosks dotted throughout the Sea World complex.
