See Shit-faced Shakespeare at The Rockwell

Shakespearean plays can sometimes seem a bit stuffy—but not when there’s a super sloppy actor on stage. The Rockwell is bringing back its fan-favorite, Shit-faced Shakespeare, with its latest run of Romeo and Juliet. The production will be following The Bard’s classic tragedy line by line, with just one exception: One of the players will be totally loaded the entire time. Come see the troupe and its designated drunk performer struggle their way through the play, which will include taking plenty of booze-fueled creative liberties, and get tipsy yourself at the Somerville theater’s inhouse bar.
