Time Out says

A bacchanal dinner is a feast inspired by Bacchus, the Roman god of wine, revelry and indulgence. In that spirit, splash out this holiday season at one of Boston’s most luxurious and sought-after winter affairs. The Holiday Bacchanal Dinner at Fairmont Copley Plaza welcomes diners into the 112-year-old gilded lobby of the hotel, which will be dripping in florals and fabulousness. With a menu featuring coal-roasted duck breast, A5 wagyu, and sous vide Maine lobster (or try the opulent all-vegan menu), this $300-per-person event is sure to be an indulgent occasion. The Bacchanal takes place on Wednesday, Dec. 18, from 6:30–9:30pm. A ticketed reservation is required.
